The institutional rate is higher due to the added costs of dealing with subscription agencies. A Memoir series has been occasionally published when surplus funds are available or when an agency provides funds for a specific project such as tribal groups providing funds for a dictionary of Native American languages. Currently the subscription price for individuals is $35.00, one of the lowest prices in the field of anthropology, a field already distinguished for being below most other scientific fields. The student rate is $25 with proof of student status such as a copy of a student-body card. Subscription inquiries should be sent to JONA at the Richland, WA office. If your institution or agency does not subscribe to JONA please suggest it to your librarian or purchasing agent.
